WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 28, 2011) – Susan Davis International (SDI), a full-service international public relations and strategic communications agency headquartered in Washington, D.C., today announced two new clients and one client renewal.

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation – SDI, teaming with GEP Washington, is providing strategic and special events and communications counsel as well as producing, and managing the summer 2011 dedication of the Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial on the National Mall. The firm will also plan and execute a series of pre-dedication events surrounding the official dedication, all celebrating the work and life of Dr. King. SDI will serve as the Foundation’s agency of record, providing media relations services leading up to and during the dedication.

Army Historical Foundation / Army Commemorative Coin – SDI is working with the Army Historical Foundation to introduce and promote the sale of commemorative coins, which will generate support for the Army Historical Foundation and help build the National Museum of the United States Army to open in 2015. SDI will provide media, marketing, and organizational outreach and as well as public affairs and special event counsel.

Washington Ireland Program – SDI was retained for public relations and special events counsel and production. For the second year, SDI will produce An Evening with Celtic Chefs, a unique reception that brings together celebrity Irish chefs, guest VIP Sous Chefs, and Washington, D.C. culinary leaders, benefitting students from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Students are brought to Washington, D.C. for summer internships, leadership training, and public service.
