Susan Ann Davis is Chairman of Susan Davis International, a global strategic communications and public affairs firm based in Washington, D.C., with 72 agency partners worldwide. Davis is known as an expert in reputation management, strategic communications, stakeholder outreach and crisis counseling. She represents a wide array of domestic and foreign clients before the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch, providing counsel to government and industry leaders on four continents.
Over her professional career, Davis has played a key strategic communications and government relations role in high profile crises ranging from product liability litigation to airline crashes, environmental threats, and foreign government economic crises. As a member of multiple boards, she has a keen understanding of the nature of the responsibility board members have in managing risk and protecting shareholder value through effective reputation management.
Davis is a board director of the American Ireland Fund; Washington Ireland Program for Service and Leadership; Medical Missions for Children; St. Jude Hospital’s National Advisory Board; the Girls Scout Advisory Board; and a past board member of the University Of Wisconsin Graduate School Of Business, the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Metropolitan USO. She is also past President of the prestigious International Women’s Forum representing more than 7,000 women leaders worldwide and a past President of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Washington, DC.
