Daily Taps at the WWI Memorial

“Taps,” our national song of remembrance by Congress’ declaration, is played at 5 p.m. each evening at the WWI Memorial in Washington, DC.  Visitors to the memorial will hear and see the emotional tribute to all who served and are serving in the armed services played by a military bugler in WWI period military dress. The playing of “Taps” occurs rain or shine and is planned to continue in perpetuity.
